Anti Wrinkle Aftercare

We wanted to add some guidelines for the do’s and don’ts after you’ve had Anti Wrinkle Treatment with ourselves. :)
Don’t worry after treatment your practitioner will run through all these with you but sometimes all the information can be a little much to take in so we have added them to our website so you can check in post treatment if you’re unsure of anything .
1. Please avoid lying down flat for 4 hours after treatment.
2. Please avoid alcohol or vigorous exercise for 24 hours , as these both increase the blood supply to the muscles of the face and may cause the product to diffuse.
3. No massages (lying face down) or facials for 72 hours.
4. Please avoid exposure to Saunas, Steam Rooms or Sunbeds for 4 hours to prevent a rise in blood pressure. This helps minimise the risk of bruising after treatment.
5. Some patients experience a mild headache after treatment (this is rare). Paracetamol can be taken to alleviate any mild discomfort, as long as this is medically safe. (Check with your GP & follow the recommended dosage).
6. Any redness after treatment will normally subside within a few hours. There is a small risk of bruising that can normally last up to a week. This can be covered with makeup 24 hours after treatment.
7. After the product is placed in the targeted muscles the desired result begins within 3-7 days after treatment and is not complete for 14 days. Therefore optimal results will be seen 14 days after treatment.
It’s important to note you need to be one week after your Anti Wrinkle Treatment before you can avail of the Covid-19 Vaccine if you are planning to do so.
And you do need to be one week after the Covid-19 Vaccine before you can have your check in appointment here at EOS.
Also please be mindful it’s advised not to wash your hair until 24 hours after you’ve had treatment, some clients like to wash their hair before treatment knowing this and not schedule any hair appointments until after this period.
